Workforces continue to age. Against a backdrop of new compulsory pension commitments, no default retirement age and increased life expectancy, managing an ageing workforce has become the biggest employment challenge for some of our clients.

This lively, practical and participative training event will discuss how to deal with health, safety, disability and performance management issues, as well as how to incentivise retirement.

Cathy Norton BSc, FCIPD, CMIOSH, LLM – Director - BackupHR. One of the UK's most experienced HR professionals, Cathy is qualified in HR, Employment Law and Health and Safety. With industrial experience across a variety of sectors, including the voluntary sector, she regularly speaks at conferences, seminars and writes expert columns.

Peter Stanway, BA MCIPD LLM - Senior Consultant - BackupHR. Fully qualified in HR and Employment Law, Peter's has more than 30 years as an HR manager and consultant. Our top expert on Employment Law, he is also an experienced Tribunal Advocate.

Mark Hodson, Dip PFS, MPMI - Senior Adviser - web.fs . Mark is an acknowledged expert on pensions and employee benefits - following a long career with Scottish Widows, Mark joined Web Financial Services in 2009. He regularly writes for various trade publications and received an industry award in 2008.
