​Cathy has worked in Human Resources Management for over 40 years, after attending St Andrews University she went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management. Cathy worked in both the private and voluntary sectors in a range of different HR operational management roles before becoming an HR Consultant in 2000.  Cathy completed a Masters Degree in Employment Law, which included health & safety as one of her main topics. Cathy uses her extensive HR knowledge to help clients find pragmatic and practical outcomes to all types of people issues. She is an experienced trainer, coach and executive mentor.

Cathy also has extensive practical experience in developing within organisations, a positive health and safety culture, through the implementation of sensible policies, working practices and two-way communication systems.  She is a Corporate Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). She is also a member of the Institute of Directors (IOD), and is regularly consulted on employment issues by their team as part of their lobbying activities.
