An ACAS report identifies seven levers for workplace productivity. We will look at practical steps that Managers can take to get the best out of their employees by focusing on four of the seven levers.  We will also give our own take on productivity using the three “R”s, namely Reward, Responsibility and Respect. Managers succeed by having highly productive teams.  Traditional approaches have invariably been focused on time management and working people harder, over longer hours.  The modern Manager knows that a productive team depends far more on job design and communication, whilst recognising that issues of trust and fairness are equally as important.

This course will identify some of the key elements that all Managers should be aware of if they wish to manage their teams more effectively, thereby enhancing the organisation’s performance/prosperity, and their reputation as a key performer.

The course objectives will include: –

  • Defining Productivity
  • Well-Designed Work
  • How Fairness Contributes
  • Employee Voice
  • The Value of Trust
  • Well-Being – Another Aspect of Productivity

The course will commence at 8.45 am, with registration and refreshments from 8.00 am. The course will finish around 3.00 pm, with breaks for refreshments and lunch.

The cost for this training event will be £150.00 plus VAT per delegate, including lunch. Book before 31st August 2016 and receive an early bird discount. To reserve your place on this course, please contact Jackie Bolton either by e-mail: jackie@www.backuphr.com or call 01480 677981.
