Many Managers are promoted to a role that involves being in charge of people - the promotion is often based their on technical/operational expertise.  Yet, to successfully manage individuals or a team requires a different set of skills and techniques.  Even Senior Managers may never have had formal training on the best ways to lead and manage people.  All Managers need to keep up to date with the evolving principles of motivating and engaging the different generations of people they are responsible for in the modern workplace. It is about continuous professional development if you are a Manager.

This course focuses on the key aspects of successful people management, including effective communication skills; practical motivation and engagement; the ability to develop individuals and also teams; and finally, knowing your own default management style and when you may need to change/modify it.

We have designed this course to suit those who are new to Management, as well as being a useful refresher for the more experienced Manager looking to develop existing skills and/or want to be more successful by learning new/different approaches, as part of personal/career development.

The course will commence at 8.30 am, with registration and refreshments from 8.00 am, and will finish around 1.45 pm to 2.00 pm, with breaks for refreshments and lunch.

The cost for this course will be £175.00 plus VAT per delegate, including lunch.   Preferential rates for clients.
